Butch (1974-)
French Graffiti Artist and Tagger
t’s interesting to see how Butch Cassidy, the notorious outlaw from the late 19th century, has inspired a contemporary graffiti artist and tagger in Paris. Butch seems to have found his passion in the street art scene and has built a community of like-minded individuals around him. It’s also noteworthy that Butch has managed to avoid getting prosecuted for his graffiti activities, just like his namesake managed to evade the law for his criminal acts. However, it’s important to note that graffiti and vandalism are illegal activities that can have negative impacts on communities and property owners. That being said, Butch’s dedication to his art and his belief in the Hip-Hop culture as a way of life is admirable. It’s clear that he has found a sense of purpose and fulfillment through his creative pursuits, and hopefully, he can continue to express himself in a way that doesn’t harm others or their property.
